Hey! My name is Harrison. I am a Licensed Mental Health therapist with licenses in Washington, Oregon, and North Carolina (pending). I am from North Carolina originally and spend most of my free time outdoors hiking, riding motorcycles, playing soccer and boxing. I am a firm believer in a good life is made through the choices we are brace enough to make.
Hello, my name is Jina Pollock and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I enjoy helping adult clients navigate through and heal from trauma, as well as those experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief, or going through difficult life transitions. I am committed to helping others overcome challenging dynamics within their lives, opening the doors to living in a more balanced and contented state of mind and body, where healing can flourish.
My approach
I integrate components of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), somatic intervention, motivational interviewing (MI), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) into my practice. Additionally, I am basically trained in EMDR therapy. I strongly believe in the mind-body connection and the benefit of utilizing a holistic approach in everyday practice.
My focus
I am experienced in navigating first responder challenges, both firsthand and as a current first responder spouse. I am also currently in the process of gaining certification in perinatal mental health and have a passion for helping women navigate the unique and intensely vulnerable experiences motherhood can bring. Knowing you are not alone in this new journey of life can be incredibly helpful.
My communication style
I create safety through a trauma-informed lens. I will walk alongside you in your journey of healing through building an authentic and honest relationship. I tend to be direct and empathetic in my approach.
My journey to mental healthcare
As a former first responder, I have seen first-hand the impact addiction, trauma, chronic stress, loss, and mental health disorders can have on an individual’s quality of life. I served my community for 8 years in law enforcement prior to deciding to continue serving others in a different capacity.
My goals for you
I believe you are the expert in you. I will help you develop goals through strength-based, obtainable, and measurable objectives. My goal is to walk by your side and be a partner in your healing journey.
